Disaster Recovery Technical Services can evaluate your financial institution's current disaster recovery program to identify, quantify, and control risk related to the adequacy of the program, and provide recovery capabilities for Harland Financial Solutions applications, should an unanticipated interruption in operation occur.  The assessment evaluates the adequacy of your current program and recovery capabilities to support operations, and provides recommendations to strengthen the program if necessary.  Three levels of service include planning and documentation, disaster recovery infrastructure assistance, and full business continuity planning, including establishing physical facilities to run your Harland Financial Solutions applications.

Disaster Recovery Technical Services provide your institution with three levels of service:

  1. Planning assistance and documentation of existing plans to recover specific systems in the event of a disaster.
  2. Assistance establishing a disaster recovery infrastructure that includes:
    • Around-the-clock services designed to support Harland Financial Solutions software applications
    • Utilization of state-of-the-art Harland Financial Solutions data centers
    • Experienced engineers to load your data saving time and resources
    • Testing services from backup tapes to full disaster recovery plan testing
    • Branch communications via ISDN and site-to-site IPSec VPN
    • Intel servers available for Windows-based application testing
  3. Establishing physical facilities that include:
    • Ready rooms equipped with PCs, printers, phones for testing and use
    • Portable branch office in the event a branch or main office has major damage or is destroyed.
