Guest Speakers

Joe Theismann - Opening Keynote

Twelve-year NFL veteran and this year's keynote speaker, Joe Theismann, teaches audiences how to tackle change by keeping a positive mental outlook and committing to a vision that guides them to the top.

Drawing from personal experience, Theismann knows how to deal with the Challenge of Change. On November 18, 1985, he was on top of his game -- a two-time Pro Bowl player and the most productive quarterback in the history of the Washington Redskins. Later that evening, he found himself in a hospital bed with a compound fracture to his leg, shattering both his career and his boyhood dream. At age thirty-five, he was faced with starting over his personal life and professional career. In his charismatic and entertaining style, Theismann gives a stirring presentation that inspires audiences to overcome adversity

Cary Mullen - Closing Keynote

This year’s closing speaker, Cary Mullen, is a two-time Olympian and World Cup Champion. He has lived on the edge for 10 years as a competitive ski racer representing Canada throughout the world. Mullen believes in doing things smarter, faster, and better. He set the world downhill speed record on the world’s most famous ski course – in Kitzbuhel, Austria. This downhill record still exists today at an amazing speed of 97mph.

Propelling audiences to the top of the world’s most challenging mountains, Mullen shares the thrill of skiing faster than anyone else in the world. A believer in “championing greatness”, he also recounts the pain and anguish of three near fatal crashes and the growth he experienced in facing such adversity. His powerful presentation teaches life lessons and inspires higher levels of excellence.
