Proof of Deposit (POD) provides item capture, exception item pull (EIP) processing, sort pattern editing, and fine sort facilities. Active:View Item Processing POD runs in a local area network (LAN) based, client/server configuration using an advanced 32-bit relational database management system (RDBMS). The POD modules expand the application of relational database technology to the task of item processing. POD operator functions and services run on a transport connected Windows workstation. POD database functions run on a LAN connected Windows database server.
